I don't usually take time to leave reviews, but when I saw there aren't great reviews on this cute little table I wanted to be sure to give it my positive review! I'm actually on Amazon now to buy another one! I bought this a year ago, and was immediately delighted with how this little table complemented my {slightly} coastal backyard décor, reminding me of living near the beach growing up. I was worried about the table being too gray, as I have some black and bronze furniture, but it had enough brown that it blended beautifully into my décor. The table arrived having a slightly weathered stain and look, but certainly not looking worn at all. It had the beautiful look I was hoping that's very popular right now, rustic but with clean lines. It has held up to my kids occasionally eating little meals and messy snacks on it. It is under a covered porch but still gets plenty of "weather" as when the wind blows it gets rained on. I made the mistake of not bringing it inside during the winter - it had held up all summer and fall so I didn't think about bringing it in. I should have. Over the winter, it did get a little more "weathered" (snowed on and frozen) and some of the stain came off, but honestly my husband and I think it adds to the lovely weathered look/character it already carries. When I receive the second table, I will give it a quick coat or 2 of polyacrylic to help it weather a little better, especially as it won't be covered. I will also do the same to my first table. What wood tables don't show wear after a few years outside? The wood itself shows no sign of damage after being outside for a full year. And honestly, for the price you could buy a replacement table in a couple of years! Even much more expensive brands that carry similar tables mention that after a few years you'll need to sand the table and re-stain it. It's just the price you pay for wood + outdoors. So take proper precautions. The table itself is lovely!
