European reissue of the 2005 album from the acclaimed guitarist, a former member of the Jeff Healey Band and Uncle Kracker/Melissa Etheridge collaborator. Just out of high school, he performed with Healey at prestigious festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, and on bills with the Allman Brothers Band, Robert Cray, Gary Moore, Johnny Winter, B.B. King, and sold out shows around the world. Sayce recorded Peace Machine in the autumn of 2005, and released it independently. Philip's style is a blend of David Gilmour, Steve Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix with a touch of Lenny Kravitz. Provogue. 2009.

A great introduction to Philip Sayce. The songs are all great, with no duds to speak of. A lot of Hendrix and Kravitz influence on the song writing and performance, but not so much that he sounds like a replica. I've sampled music from other albums he has released and so far this one is my favorite. If your a guitar player and love the classic sound of the strat through an overdriven amp with dynamic playing, then you owe it to yourself to listen to this album. Same goes if your just a fan of blues-rock. He blows Kenny Wayne out of the water and plays with more soul than Bonomassa.
