Ahhhh. Real silk. Gets no better.Comes from China, but still didnt take too long. Nice strong fitted sheet. Came in secure packaging.Not too thin. Not silver or slate or any kind of grey I've ever seen. More muave.Not cheap but its mulberry silk, and it feels so delicious when we get into bed. Nicely finished. Haven't washed it yet but for the last couple of nights its been great.Omg!!! I just reviewed the matching pillowcases that I ordered first, and I just cannot say enough about these products!!!I ordered the pillow cases first in Spaulding gray, because the color I was looking for is elusive at best and I wasn't convinced this would be a match. You've seen the trending color everyone calls "greige," that's neither a gray nor a beige? Well, that's the color I was going for with this bedding. The pictures looked like it might have been right but I didn't want to order an entire expensive set only to find out the color was terrible or the quality bad. So I ordered cases and waited. When they came, they were PERFECT!!! Not gray, not beige, but somewhere inbetween the two, with a cool pink undertone. This color really cannot be described! And I loved the cases so much that after one night sleeping on them, i ordered this fitted sheet to match. I had high expectations based on those cases, but this sheet surpassed them!!! I expected quality; I didn't expect the workmanship in this sheet!As described in other reviews, the elastic goes entirely around the bottom edge. What wasn't described in the reviews was the awesome box-style seam sewed around the top edge, where the sides meet the top. This seam effectively tailors your sheet to your mattress, giving an almost custom fit no matter how thick your bed. It also provides a clean, crisp look to the bed when made, and helps keep the sheet tight as you move around on it. That seam alone would have had me paying extra- I love how it improves the fit.As far as the silk itself, it is nice and thick without being stiff, and it feels like heaven crawling into bed. It's incredibly sensual feeling to cool silk against your skin- I don't think I'll ever go back to cotton sheets now.I'm so impressed with this company's service and prompt attention to my inquiries, and their quality products, that I'll only order my silk bedding from them from now on- I can't imagine finding another company who can provide such great service! I'll be ordering their duvet cover next, as soon as the ivory color I'm wanting is back in stock. Stay tuned for that review! ;-)I love the dusty purple color. It feels so great against my skin. I cant use the fitted and flat sheet at the same time or my whole bedclothes slide off the bed. Now I just have purchased the fitted sheet and I love love love it.I really love this sheet! I’ve been sleeping on it for over a year and it’s as soft and silky as the day I got it! It’s nice and cool in the summer but just as nice and cozy in the winter. Really the best sheet I’ve ever had, and I’m a picky person when it comes to bed linens. Don’t hesitate with the high price tag. They’re totally worth it! You have to get the pillowcases to match! You’ll be sleeping in silk heaven!Rated a 3 because it is the first of its kind I have used therefore I have nothing to compare it against. Thus cant tell if it is superior or not.i love silk sheets in general and these are very good ones.they are soft, comfortable and smooth. the feel is very nice.they are slippery, which i am ok with.as for value for money, i would say it depends on who you are. for me, it was enough. but in general, i think that the feel of these silk sheets versus some of the better cotton sheets i bought, does not justify the price difference. while it was worth it for me, i am not sure it would be worth it for others.
