After researching all of the snow machines on Amazon, we decided on this one. Although a bit pricey compared to some of the other cheaper models, we were still happy with what we got. We have a fog machine by the same brand and liked how it worked. The remote control function is the same on this machine as it is the fog machine which gives you lots of control. The cord on the remote control is super long (maybe around 10 ft long). We used this on our Christmas parade float and it was perfect. Don't waste your money on the snow fluid these companies sell you, I bought 1 gallon of it and then made 2 gallons of our own mix with Mr bubble (4oz) rubbing alcohol (4oz), and a 120 oz of distilled water (basically poured 8 oz of water out and then replace 8 oz with soap and alcohol). If I had more time to experiment, there may be some better ratios, but after using all 3 gallons at our parade, it seemed identical to what we purchased from Mr Froggy's.
