Munich Machine was the house band for Casablanca Records (this recording's original label). They backed Donna Summer, Roberta Kelly and Love and Kisses in their path to success. Led by veteran keyboardist Giorgio Moroder (whose resume includes "Chase" from the soundtrack of "Midnight Express", Columbia Pictures), all of both Summer's and Kelly's hits are plowed together into one long dance track. Backing vocals by The Midnite Ladies also helps this land (or should have landed) into the Top Disco / Funk Albums of All Time (Or it should have, as I said). Not one beat is missed, as the bass nearly pounded the speakers outta my car! I thought this album was shelved and forgotten as disco met its demise, but came back as Ol' Skool Dance, so now this joint can get the true respect it deserves! Listen, and you will see! The cover of the two robots gets the party started, so you will have the general idea of what long-gone funk once was, and can be again, so stop giving a s--- as to what anybody who listens to manufactured crap says and get this joint!
