I only review about 2% of my purchases so this was a nice product.Sturdy and has a heavy top which I like. I've bought several Ashley furniture products over the past five years and the quality has been the same across the board. It was made In china.Several of the corner cross pieces on the inside were cracked from shipping but I just used a hot glue gun and it was fine, not a critical issue for me since you have to keep in mind the weight that's going to be on these...a lamp and maybe a cup at the most?Assembly was easy with two hex screws per leg like most Ashley furniture.I would 100% recommend buying this living room set. My last set was double the price and this one blows it away. You can listen to the critical reviews but we all know how whiny people are these days.I like the marbleOh man, what can I say about this purchase? First of all, every single leg had scratches in them. Not one, not two, all twelve legs, in multiple areas, with some larger than a half dollar of their faux wood laminate missing.Faux wood laminate. Yes, you read that right. The legs are not made of wood at all, they are some sort of plastic painted to make look like wood. Now I realize they have somewhere in their listing it's made with poly legs, but come on. They rely on you missing that gem.So let's talk about the marble. I went into this knowing at this price, there is no way this is real marble. What I didn't assume was that it was a piece of plywood with a thin marble laminate paper stretched over it and crimped on the underside close to the edge. NO! Not well beyond the edge so they can use the framing of the table as an additional method to keep the ends crimped, we're talking mere millimeters. Brush the end of your table with a vacuum? In addition to the large gouge you placed in the poly legs, you now pulled that laminate off.SO! I got on the horn, told Amazon the problem, which they were helpful enough to send me a decent discount. Fine, let me grab some paint to cover all these marks, take my time with it while it's disassembled, and make it look spiffy. Wood paint will not work on wood. Nothing would except nail polish which after I developed my method, turned out meh, not too shabby! Let's assemble this finally! 5 days after the fact.OBJECTION!Note the last picture! While screwing the screws in the threaded inserts made for wood (in a faux wood leg) had ZERO to grip to. A total of 5 failed during assembly, 4 of which occurred before the bolt was even starting to get snug. Called up Amazon again, they offered a slightly deeper discount which I reluctantly took. I'm already in this pile of trash 5 days and multiple trips to the store during a pandemic. Got Gorilla Glue, glued them in, waited 24 hours, and hot dog we're in business!I'm not the only one with this problem, and it's sad to see a company that was known for its quality 15-20 years ago has deteriorated to this. This is shameful. This is sad. I feel more confident in the glue holding this thing together than I do the actual materials. The glue I firmly think is the strongest component here. Look wise, not bad at all. If this item came without hassle, at first glance you could fool a lot of people it's not real marble. However, aesthetics mean squat to me when I fear this set I am not stuck with might not even last a year."Another quality product from Ashley Furniture..."came with minor scratches finish on legs kind of cheesy paid more then there worthMy tables are simple but elegant. Good value for the money. I also appreciated the customer service I received from furniture Express, fast and courteous. These tables are nice and sturdy. We got the faux marble top ones and they match perfectly!Table is sturdy. Looks nice and we saved about $200 versus buying it from Ashley’s furniture storeCouple splinters during assembly so be carefulOne sharp spot Imperfect on the fake marble top. One of the built would not go into one of the hole for the leg. The coffee table is LARGE. Have to Touch the wood finish color in spots. For a TV room, staging a house or office. Not high quality.I love this tables. Well made and they look expensive.
