Was looking for a legit industrial quality machine & this item fits that niche.Purchased this machine for a new pool cabana. After some usage, here are my thoughts.CONS:1). The unit is heavy. Very heavy. Find a good place for it, then leave it there. Don't plan on moving it around or hauling it from place to place.2). Comes with an odd pronged plug. Initially, my thought was that I had inadvertently bought a 220v machine. Apparently, this is some sort of standard 120v lock plug for industrial use. When I contacted the seller, they immediately shipped me a standard adapter pigtail free of charge. This may be a positive for some buyers.3). As with any appliance of this size, there will be notable heat discharge. Just be sure to account for some ventilation around the unit & you'll be fine.PROS:1). The unit works very well. The cylinder & reservoir easily hold +5 gallons of mix w/ room to spare. The cylinder keeps a nice frozen mix & the upper refrig reservoir keeps the stored mix very cold. Used this machine at our last pool party. Weather was +90F & we had over 30 people. The machine kept up just fine, maintained a consistent product, & was a great hit. Would recommend keeping it out of direct prolonged sunlight.2). The unit is surprisingly quiet. Despite a large internal compressor, motor, etc., there is not an aggressive amount of noise coming from the machine.3). The consistency of the product is perfect. It makes a very smooth, consistent, frozen mixture & does it relatively quickly. Added five gallons of room-temperature mix & product was ready to pour into margarita cups in under 2 hours. Pre-chiller reservoir effectively cools any subsequent added mix for the freeze cylinder. Adjusting the consistency (via a "hardness" screw inside the machine) is cumbersome, but the factory settings are spot on right out of the box.4). The machine seems well-built & is all stainless steel. No worries about corrosion. While there are a lot of parts to clean, it is designed to break down & clean relatively easily.5). You won't have to open up the machine to reset the relay breaker switch should you trip it. It is conveniently accessible via the right side of the machine. Just be sure you plug it into a source that can handle the amperage.
