Coffee table matches many decor themes. Great addition to many styles such as farmhouse, classic, country or even contemporary. Nice gray wood grain color. The lift top is also a great feature.Such a beautiful table for an affordable price. I love the extra storage and that the top raises to allow for working on a laptop or eating. It’s not the easiest thing to put together. Just take your time and follow the directions. It is a heavy table. Its true that its not as sturdy as a real wood piece of furniture, but its definitely not as bad as some of the reviews say. The lower shelf is a weak area, true, it flexes a little bit. But we've been resting our feet on it since we got it a few months ago and it hasn't been a problem. Definitely wont break with the weight of a book or putting your feet on it the first time. Might make a little leg or support for it at some point.I am concerned that the entire hinge/top assembly is attached to the side of the coffee table with short 5/8 screws going in to engineered wood. Holding up well so far though. And the rubber bumpers that "slow close" the top wore out almost immediately. For the price this has been awesome. If you eat while watching TV, this is a game changer.I got the dark brown. Good quality, easy to assemble in two people, the lift top works well and holds a good amount of stuff.I was looking for a coffee table that did not cost a lot as eventually, I plan to redecorate and will not be using a coffee table. I work from home sometimes so, needed the lift top but have a smaller space so was not looking for anything too big. This piece is relatively sturdy/heavy. The instructions for putting it together require two people when putting on the lift top and I'd recommend it however, if you're like me, you can get it done with only one person with some creative thinking. It does not have wheels/castors which I wasn't a fan of but I simply put furniture pads on the bottom and it slides across my hardwood no problem.CONS:The corners of this coffee table are hard and sharp! I wacked my ankle on it and it did some damage so, be aware, especially if you have kids! The lift top does not pull up easily and when putting it down, it only goes down so far on it's own. You have to push it to get it to close all the way.Otherwise, I'd say it's a cute little coffee table, especially for the price.I don't usually write in depth reviews but I was so pleasantly surprised by this purchase.I knew it would require assembly so I was hesitant about the purchase. However, this might be the best furniture assembly, instruction and finished product I've experienced. From receiving the package, delivered quickly and on time to the actual packaging, was great.I would have been surprised if any parts were damaged in tow because it was extremely well packaged and protected. There were reinforced outer layers on each edge of the box that the product came in.Once I opened the box, which took time to get opened, there were firm styrofoam pieces in every nook and cranny to prevent sliding of pieces. Each piece was labeled either with sticker or written on edge. Either way, the instructions were clear about what to expect for labeling. All pieces were in tact. I could have built ther entire thing alone until the very end where the instructions actually noted you would need an extra hand. However, my husband and I enjoyed working together to complete this project. It took a short amount of time, less than 2 hours (didn't really time it and we worked slowly).I LOVE this finished product. It works perfectly and looks BEAUTIFUL. It's looks exactly as pictured!Best value purchase!Well my only issue with it is that I was expecting a little texture on top... and I hoped that the color wouldn’t clash with my orange hued floors. I thought that the color would be a little warmer. It’s still a beautiful piece and I love it. From an angle you really can’t tell how flat the top is... the wood grain effect looks natural until you get up close. I ordered a set of sauder salt oak finished pieces that I loved so I am a returning customer who loves and will vouch for sauder furniture quality. Yes it is particle board but it is made very well and it is much more solid than other particle board products that I have purchased in the past. As you can see from my image I bought a matching tv stand to go with it in the same wood effect finish. It does take a long time to put together and the top mechanism is tricky. That being said I would buy it again.Had this for a couple of months now, I've always had it sitting on top of a floor rug on lvt flooring so if it needed to be slid out of the way did not have to actually move the furniture itself. The bottom of this table has separated and fallen off to the floor. Keep in mind that I followed the instructions precisely and added the glue that was provided. Hinges to the table are okay the rest of the table is falling apart.the product is cheaply made and can be easily damaged putting it together. Which I almost did. I had to send 2 pieces back. One piece had permanent marker on it, the other one was cracked.Once it's put together it's a really nice table. Sturdier. Just be very careful putting it together. It only took me two weeks, but I was determined to put this table together without my husbands help. This coffee table really matches my space and the pop up top doubles as a workspace. While it looks lovely, arrived very promptly and I could put it together myself, I worry that the the particle board won’t hold up over time. Still good value for the price.Perfect table for us. Strong and sturdy. Instructions were good but follow them carefully.Didn’t realize this was pressboard wood. Description doesn’t clarify that and pictures shown lead you to believe it’s solid wood. Otherwise seems good and looks goodJ'aurais aimé avoir les plans en francais.Fragile a lassemblage mais solide une fois monter
