No complaintsLOVE THESE NEEDLES!I am very disappointed that I was unable to use the heavy-duty thread that was recommended for leather work with these needles. I hope that the dual-purpose thread I was forced to use holds up. If not I will remove that thread and hand sew using the holes made by the needle. I am surprised that Singer has made these poor-quality needles. I have sewn for 60 years so I am not a novice.I use these to make a leather makeup bag. So far so good, I’ll be making a bunch more bags and I’ll do a follow up to see how long the needles last.Back to a hobbyLiked very much sewed bottom of leather to homemade house shoes .GoodI own an old time photo studio in Western Colorado so most of our costumes are western themed which includes a lot of leather. When I have to fix them they snap regular needles like toothpicks. My mom is a trained seamstress and swore that regular needles were just as good as leather needles, so why waste the extra money on them? So I tried making do with regular needles for a very long time. Then after a day where I'd broken my needle every fifteen minutes I got frustrated and ordered these on Amazon. And while I have had a few break (I sew A LOT of leather) they are amazing in comparison. To be fair, I can't say I have any experience with other brands or types of leather needles. And the bar I'm comparing them to is extremely low. So who's to say that in the future I won't find better leather needles? But for now these are perfect for my needs. I am extremely happy.Heavy work needs good quality tools. These Singer needles do it !!!Strong needles used to make holes in leather to saddle sewGood straight forward purchase and quick delivery. Needles do what they say on the box.fits my machine perfectSeems ok . Not used yet.
