It took me months to finally decide to spend this much. I didn’t find ANY bad reviews, & I looked everywhere. I also looked everywhere for a better price- Amazon was the best, by far. Everyone was very clear about the time it took to get it shipped & everyone was right. 4-6 weeks. So I knew what to expect & wasn't disappointed by the wait. 5 1/2 weeks later, I almost attacked the driver when he took it out of his truck. I’m glad I had made sure the 24”x24” would fit on my table. I even made a template & cleared the area to make room for it. Made it much easier to set up once it got here. It’s huge! I just can’t explain how much easier it has made my FMQ on large quilts. I have spent so much time rolling up, re-rolling, pushing, shoving, getting stuck, or making a quilt in smaller sections that I’d quilt, then sew together. I’d never send a quilt out for someone else to finish, but I came to dread this part of the process. No more. I’m not kidding how big of a difference the table makes. I also got a slider mat, because it seems like everyone says you should, but I should have saved my $$. They aren’t cheap! I don’t think they add much slipperiness with the table. The acrylic seems to be smooth enough that you can maneuver the quilt around just fine as long as you have some good gloves to help you keep the quilt right where you want it. The good part of the slider is all the measurements printed on it. With such clear lines extended all along your work area, it’s amazing how much it helps me see a long straight line, or gauge the area of a FMQ design. The 3 1/2” space under the table is an awesome storage space. You can have all your tools close by & handy. You can also lay out your quilt pieces underneath to keep them from getting lost, or messed up. You could even set finished blocks there for reference. Or put a light underneath & you’ve got an instant light box! My biggest hint is: READ ALL THE REVIEWS! Before you ask “Will it fit my___?” As soon as you place your order, the seller will contact you for the make of your machine. They don’t have them in stock, they cut each table when they get an order & they can make them for just about every machine on the planet. That’s why it takes so long to get it. You’ll be happy you waited!
