How do you describe a band that just surprises you with every track?! Fan-frickin-tastic! They meld together hard core rock/metal, samba, disco, classical guitar and so many other genres - this could have gone horribly wrong but it doesn't. Genius!They are technically sound and super creative - there is no downer track at all. High energy, great lyrics and super talented musicians. I just saw them live when they were touring with In This Moment and they kicked a$$ and stole the show. They were the only reason I went to see this show and I got the chance to talk to them afterwards and let them know that fact. Great, down to earth fellows that love to party and have a good time.Kin Etik's vocals are so strong and so sure they will knock you out. He can strain, yell and sing softly like no other. How's that even possible?!?! Shane "Russ" Russell's drumming is steady and carries the songs through and through - well developed skills this guy has, that's for sure. Steve "Stevic" Mackay is a wonder - his guitar skills are truly heard throughout this album but even mores so on the the last two tracks. Damon McKinnon's bass holds the band and keeps them tight and Rohan Hayes along with Stevic's guitar work is just magical - his backup vocals to Kins is just so dang good - great harmonies.Do yourself a favor and buy this album.
