I use two wood burners when I'm working. The first one I bought was a Tekchic 60w. It's a fine product and I have no real complaint about it. I've have found I don't like to stop and change nibs so I have two burners set up. This allows me to have 4 different nibs available without changing one out.Like I said, the Tekchic is a good wood burner but, I like this one better for the following reasons:The electric cords connecting the pens to the control box are a lot more flexible and this makes the pens lighter and easier to use. The control box is smaller and heavier than the Tekchic. It's weight and better feet mean it stays in put. The Tekchic is lighter and really doesn't have feet. It can slide around on your wood bench easier.The Tekchic has its on/off switch on the side of the box. Once you turn the unit on one of the pens will start to heat up because the sector switch has no neutral position. The Greenleaf has all its controls on the front face of the unit. The voltage knob turns on the unit but if the selector switch is off, (in its neutral middle position), neither pen heats up. So, the unit can stay on and both pens remain cool.The pen holders of the greenleaf are much better designed and easier to use. You can look at the pictures of the two products and see that's apparent without using it.
