What a pleasant surprise. I bought this album almost blind - I knew that it was similar in genre to Dream Thearter, of which I'm a fan, and,- er, well OK, I liked the cover. I was not disappointed. All instrumental, - but what shines through is quality. Superb tight, blistering at times performance, without doubt technically brilliant. Style is mostly complex progressive melodic metal but also takes from rock, jazz and classical styles in parts. No filler tracks. Overall, highly recommended.
