I LOVE the look of the Bedspread, we just bought a new King size bed, so I wanted something pretty. My only complaints are 1: It sheds so awfully bad. We washed it once and a ton of cotton lint was backed up into the dryer vent, and it’s shedding all over my wood floors, still. 2: It’s very heavy to sleep under, especially if you fold the top down like we do, from the pillows. I actually find it hard to turn over at night, without picking up the covers first. 3: I was bummed to realize the shams don’t come with it, I knew that before I bought it, though. And I find the shams are ridiculously high priced for each one. So, I bought throw pillows, which work just fine. Otherwise, I love it!This is very thin. Like a sheet. And the chenille came out in several places leaving holes after I washed it.Thank GOD I purchased this from Amazon because they willingly took this expensive piece of garbage back. The company "Better Trends" however, refused to allow me to send back the matching Sham without paying and expensive return shipping fee, that I didn't need since I was not keeping the spread. They said because I had no issue with the (ripped or torn) Sham I could return it on my own dime. When I tried repeatedly to explain I didn't need it BECAUSE I WAS RETURNING THE BAD SPREAD, and that the sham also shed horribly, they asked for pictures for proof.Terrible company. Will never deal with them again. It's odd, you never really know a company, until you have a problem. Then they show you their true colors. But again...AMAZON is great. Love them. Better Trends...bad.The chenille crocks off. Will launder it and it may stop. I do realize chenille is famous for this. It is beautiful and good weight for fall weather.excellent size for king bed. But....way too much fuzz and "lint" after first wash at hoe. Nest time will definitely take to laundromat. Not a true chenille. If you wash at home be sure to clean lint filter multiple times during dry.The wad on the left came out of the washing machine. The mess on the right came out of the dryer. I've laundered this spread twice and it still sheds. My husband and I even hauled it outside and gave it a good shake after laundering. Didn't help much. Little specks of white lint on our clothes and on our carpets. I hate this thing. It's a cheap-arsed wannabe that I will be donating it to Goodwill. The bedspread is beautiful and soft but it sheds so badly even after washing. The picture is only some of what was in the dryer filter. It was deep down inside and hard to get it all out.Chenille bedspreads have had a place in my heart forever. Had one as a kid and was hoping to at least come CLOSE to the way those vintage ones looked and felt. I am so, so happy! The quality is fabulous. Worth every single penny. Waited to write review until I washed it at least one. Came out beautifully! Seriously, you are missing out if you don't buy one of these!I was hoping for a beautiful bedspread, but the color is not accurate. It should be described as more of a lime green instead of sage. Will be returning this. You will swim in fluff forever. It looks pretty thoughAs soon as I opened the box I could tell it was cheap. I sent it back.ugly and cheap laid et a l'air vieux depasseI am disappointed that this Bed Spread did not include matching pillow shams. I might return the Bed Spread because of this.
