I BOUGHT THIS IN MARCH. IT HAS BEEN A STRUGGLE SINCE I BOUGHT IT. PRESSED DOUGH IS NOT CONSISTENT. THE PIPE THAT HOLDS THE PRESS PLATE AND HANDLE WORKS UP OUT OF THE BASE ACTING LIKE A JACK. EVERYTIME YOU PRESS DOUGH IT RAISES THE PRESSING UNIT. THERE IS A HOLE AT THE BASE OF THE PIPE THAT IS THREADED. SO I BOUGHT A BOLT TO FIT AND TIGHTENED FIRM AGAINST THE CHROME PIPE. IT HAS HELD FOR A FEW MONTHS. TODAY WENT TO PRESS DOUGH, AND THE PIPE RAISED UP OUT OF THE BASE. LOOSENED THE BOLT, PUSHED PIPE DOWN AND TRIED TO TIGHTEN THE BOLT UP AGAINST THE CHROME PIPE, AND THE BOLT SNAPPED OFF. WOULD HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A MACHINE SHOP TO GET BOLT OUT. NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION.
