I’ve bought many coffee makers over the years, from ninja machines ( which eventually leak) to cuisinart. This machine is pretty basic and makes ok coffee but has some annoying features1. The manual says you can’t make less than 4 cups of coffee , or 2 regular size coffee mugs. It’s not impossible to guess 2 cups of water but I guess the coffee is a little weaker and you have to estimate the amount of water2. The lid snaps shut, so you need to apply some pressure to open it. This makes it too easy to turn the machine on to brew as the lid overhang is actually is just above the on switch as in my photo
