I have wanted a Pilates board for a while now. Mainly because I needed an all in one easy way to get a good workout in. Without having to get a gym membership or visit my smelly complex gym that’s always breaking down. This board is convenient with It’s ability to fold, which makes it compact enough for easy storage. It is quite large for someone living in a small place like mine, so I appreciate this aspect. It has a plethora of features that target every part of your body. The main reason it attracted me was the resistance training. I am about 200 pounds and 5’7.5 This board requires you to stand on it to do anything. It holds my weight fine, thus far. I feel safe using it, as it is made of a durable plastic. The resistance bands are easy to use. I get plenty of resistance stretch at my height. Make sure you stretch and maybe even do a small cardio workout, before embarking on this board. It is not exactly basic.I tried out every aspect of the board and none of it gave me trouble. The most *IMPORTANT* thing you need to do, is only use this on a flat, hard surface. I used it on my very flat low pile carpet and I had trouble. It would click or get stuck. I learned my lesson. Flat hard surface only and you’re good. Once I did that, it was smooth from then on.Some things I appreciate about this board: ease of use, simple setup, durability, comfort (the knee pads make it much more comfortable and all the items are padded well) compactness, variety and scale. And I’ll just add in the aesthetics as a bonus. I really like the pastel lavender color. You don’t see that often in workout equipment.Overall, I would say this is perfect for a beginner to intermediate exerciser. It will definitely work you, so don’t go into it without a good stretch and if there’s any doubt how your body would handle it, I would consult you physician before trying to use this.
