The Bob's Machine Setback Bracket repositions the outboard motor into cleaner water to increase propeller efficiency and minimize prop slippage. Setbacks reduce drag and allow more bow lift. Fits motors with the standard BIA bolt pattern. Handles up to 300 HP engines. Offers 1. 5" of 2. 5" lift depending on installation holes used. Includes limited lifetime .

Didn't expect it to be so big (17x13x12 ), but it's VERY well made and, being rated for a 500 HP, motor is more than adequate for my little 9.9. I wish I'd done this years ago. The 5/8th" cast aluminum is impressive!
