I waited a few months before reviewing this product because I wanted to ensure that I had experience with it first. Setting up the walking pad was easy; the instructions were clear and brief. The remote controller has only the necessary buttons which is nice. I did put a pad underneath the walking treadmill to ensure the carpet didn't get ruined but depending on your floor that might not be necessary. The different settings are great for beginners and others who want to walk at a faster rate. I tested out all modes and never once felt wobbly or unsafe. I do always walk with the remote in my hand just in case I need to make a sudden stop or change. The walking pad is easy to store and move. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to take it from room to room but I can do it on my own which is a huge plus. Overall, if your looking for a simple way to get active while watching tv or walking at a standing desk then this product is perfect for you. The pad itself is not very loud, I'm able to hear the tv and my headphones without any trouble. I also wear shoes while walking and that helps with balance but doesn't add to the volume. I'm very happy with it and I'd recommend it.
