If you've ever worked in a chemistry lab, you'll immediately recognize these little pill stirrers. I never thought to use one in a drink cup, but now that I've seen them popping up here and there, it seems like a pretty obvious application. These pill stirrers work great, as long as you understand what they're for. They are very low-shear mixers, so they work great for things that disperse and dissolve easily, like most hot cocoa mixes, instant coffee, or Crystal Light (and similar drink mixes). They do not work well for things that tend to clump, like protein powders or most pre-workout mixes. But the upside of the low-shear vortex is that they spin very flat, so your drink doesn't push up the sides of the cup and spill out like it would in a high-shear device like a blender. Bottom line is, use this cup for what it's good at and it will work great for you. For other stuff that needs a little more help to mix, get a little portable blender. For this particular product, I love the plain, clean, white color and the fact that it's USB rechargeable. I have one that takes batteries and for some reason that just really annoyed me when I realized that. So get a USB one. They're better, since USB ports are now everywhere, including multiple in my car. The lid seals nicely and the spout pours and sips nicely without drips. Overall, just a really solid and novel little drink cup. I dig it!
