I did boxing classes as a young adult, and now as a mom of a single boy, this boxing machine looked like a great way to decompress.Assembling was easy, you get 4 Velcro straps with double sided tape. The longer straps are meant to be placed on the wall, and the shorter straps on the back of the machine, so that you can adjust it height wise. There was supposed to be a permanent attachment piece that goes on the center but my machine was missing it. Instructions are the bare basic. I measured and marked pencil lines both on the wall and the back of the machine, to make sure the distance between straps would match, so avoid having to readjust often. The machine itself is ok. - It is a bit tricky with the buttons as the 3 buttons (speed, mode and on/off) actually have dual function, with the first two affecting volume and the last one also being used for triggering Bluetooth. If you click on them they do one thing, if you press them for longer, the dual function is triggered instead. - The sound itself is pretty fuzzy, but I honestly just set the volume to the minimum and use another source of sound. - The HIT mode is not very challenging unless you select speeds of 7+. - The hitting pads sensibility could be better. You not only have to hit them somewhat hard for the hit to register, but also the sensor seems to be off center, more toward the edge of the pads. - Bluetooth mode works, just click the on button once to active it. The device name will show up as "Bluetooth". The sound on this mode is considerably better than the original songs that come with the machine, however I did not feel that the machine matched the lights and songs pace. So its acting more like a speaker source. The gloves are pure trash, and I tossed them out. They fit ok for my husband that has very big hands. But for my smaller hands they were uncomfortable, and the padding was just terrible. As someone that has used real boxing gloves before, there are just not good, and I could see myself or the kids getting hurt by using them. After just 3min of using them, my knuckles were feeling every single hit. I removed one star from the set due to the glovesBesides the gloves, I do enjoy this machine. I've added it to my work out sessions, and been using it every day.
