If you can tolerate wool and organic cotton fabrics and have fragrance. textile, or dye (nickel/chrome/metal) allergies this is the product to try.This is the only product that had no fumes at all when opening! Which was huge for my textile chemical and fragrance allergies. It ships out of Great Britain and is beautifully manufactured with organic cotton on both the top and the bottom layers with a wool filling that does not bunch up into hard lumps like the cotton ones do. It is easy to fit on a deep mattress and is noiseless and not crinkly like some.I purchased the Woolroom Deluxe Hypoallergenic Mattress Protector six months ago. I had bought a great expensive mattress a year ago. Then spent the next six month buying and returning every type of topper and mattress pad available at all price points. During the interim I was creating layers of sheets & body towels on top of the Allergenic full mattress envelope layer to protect the mattress.It does not provide a polyester-filled mattress pad feeling but it has saved my sleep life! I find it pleasingly comfortable because I don't sweat or get heated from it and has enough cushion for me. It is after all a mattress protector and not a foam topper product. Do be aware that when it is washed it must be line dried, so some might not care for that.For me after trying every available cotton and silk mattress pad I was so thrilled to find that this product is exactly what it says it is.
